Books

I recently picked myself up some antique books at a thrift store for only a couple dollars each. I love the way they look displayed throughout a home. It doesn't even need to be on a bookshelf, mine are currently sitting on a coffee table. (Although someday I will have a wall-sized book shelf full of them).
They don't have to be antique either...brightly colored or just any fun books displayed are always a great idea.

Bear with me!

Tomorrow is my due date, so I just wanted to give you all a heads up...if I suddenly go MIA it's because I'm busy having a baby.
Please bear with me and keep checking back for posts though, I promise I'll be back soon!

{I will even try scheduling some posts for you guys. We will see how the next couple of days go}.

Wallpaper Wednesday: Panels

I have mentioned in the past how wallpaper does not need to cover up an entire wall in a space.
Panels are a fabulous way to achieve the wallpaper look without going overboard.
It can also pose as artwork.
Enjoy!

Outdoor Spaces

I thought I'd give you a little outdoor design inspiration in celebration that the snow here has temporarily stopped.
Don't these photos just make you want to head on out to California? Or any warm, beachy destination for that matter... Mmm.

Metal Monogram Letters

We all love monogram lettering. On a recent visit to Urbanoutfitters, I picked up two new letters for my own collection. Right now they have a deal where you can buy any two letters for 12 dollars. Such a steal! (Especially since some of them are $10-$20 a piece).

I picked up this awesome wire M for our living room:

and this one in the letter E (for my little boy who is soon to be born).

Go check it out! (I think the deal is in stores only though).

Vintage Luggage

Here are some delightful photo inspirations on using vintage luggage in design. I absolutely adore it.
It makes me want to hit up some thrift / consignment stores to find me some.
